I hope that a number of you will consider giving of your time and talents to run for a chapter board position at the mandatory general meeting on November 2lst. Please call me if you have an interest in a position but feel that you don't have the time and/or experience, etc. I can give you a realistic description of the duties of a particular position. I'm sure some of you know in your gut it is time to give back to the chapter. What you may not know is how much the chapter will give to you in return. Nominations will be accepted at both the October and November general meetings. Set aside December 8th. on your calendar, as the chapter installation dinner dance will include a casino night. Stay tuned in for details from the entertainment connnittee. As a reminder, it is mandatory that all chapter members must pass the IPSSA water certification test by January of 2003. The test must be taken at least once per year. Rick Bishop, Region 7 Director, is tentatively scheduled to administer the test at the November general meeting.
