El Presidente's Message

I hope to see you all at the meeting on February 16th.

A representative of the CHP's Motor Carrier Division will be speaking on transportation, storage, etc., of hazardous products. Copies of material Safety Data Sheets will be on hand for distribution to you. The idea is to keep a packet of MSD Sheets in your truck at all times. Special thanks to Tom Gharib and Perry Mediate for setting this up.

I am pleased to announce that Paul Grimes will create, manage and host a web internet site for the chapter.  The site will help market you and the chapter to the public. It will also provide chapter information to you.  Paul will provide a synopsis of the site at the meeting.

It was stressed at the IPSSA Region 7 board meeting that "members shall maintain in full force all required state, county and local business  licenses... that all current
members conform to these requirements no later than January 1, 2001... failure to meet requirements will suspend member indefinitely".   New applicants must have licenses prior to being accepted as members. The education fund is available. Please contact Jim Bradbury.

One last note. Please check the room schedule outside the office of the Quality Resort for any last minute changes. We should be in the Mission Room.

JON
